All About Me
My name is Mrs. Duplessis. This is my eighth year teaching art in Commack.
Before I became an art teacher, I was a muralist and I worked at a
children's gift store, painting and personalizing furniture and gifts for
children. I've always loved working with children and feel blessed to have
the opportunity to have made a career out of it.
In my classroom, students are introduced to many different artists, styles,
techniques and materials. My hope is for each and every student to leave
my class with a sense of accomplishment, a newly learned skill or even just
a deeper appreciation for art and it's history. I look forward to working
with each and everyone of my students on new, fun and exciting projects. I
am happy to have created this site for both parents and students to access
and hope you enjoy perusing this site!
