 Art gives every student the opportunity to explore, express  and communicate their ideas and emotions to the world. It can also teach students about the world around them fostering perceptual awareness, cognitive processes and life skills. Students will be encouraged to think critically and creatively.  This will help strengthen their thinking skills as well as help students to express themselves artistically.

Throughout the year, our students will be exposed to a variety of materials and work with many different mediums. Students will learn to look at art objectively and learn about a variety of artists and their styles. They will engage their creative skills and actively participate in many hands-on projects throughout the year.
